The Museum, 5 km to Ürgüp district of Nevşehir, offers an ideal place for cultural tourism.  The Museum was recognized and registered by the Ministry of Culture as the "Private Museum" in Turkey.  The historical Mansion is also registered by the Ministry as "cultural property under preservation”. 

Where Art Meets History

The Museum's permanent exhibitions are composed of "ethnographic collection" and "handmade costume dolls collection" from Anatolia and the world.  The Museum’s fascinating permanent costume dolls exhibition takes you to a nostalgic journey full of discovery throughout art and history.  More than 2000 hand-made dolls made of celluloid, cellose, bisque, cloth, natural or recycled materials will guide you in Turkey and the world. On the one hand, you will meet historical personalities lived in Anatolia such as Yunus Emre, Nasreddin Hodja, Mevlana, Koroğlu, Dede Korkut, Asik Veysel and on the other hand, you will have a fascinating tour in İstanbul streets: meeting craftsmen&artisans of the old times; hearing “still alive” voices of famous İstanbul firemen; and remembering some street sellers from your own childhood...
